Top tips for staying healthy working from home

When working in an office we’ll often leave our desks to collect from a printer or use the photocopier. Make a trip to the bathroom, get a hot drink or just have a conversation with a colleague. While at home we tend to move far less.

It’s important to factor in breaks to your home schedule. You can build movement into your home working day by walking around rather than sitting still when you’re on a phone call. You could even do squats while waiting for the kettle to boil. When visiting the bathroom if you have one on another floor, use that one instead to get some exercise by climbing stairs.

As well as physical health we also need to look after our eyes. Using a windows PC/Laptop you can adjust the brightness settings. The night light tool on windows will show warmer colours in the evening which is easier on your eyes.
